Bad Dog Designs’ Initial Contact

We were recently contacted via Twitter by fellow Theo Paphitis SBS winners, Bad Dog Designs.  Following a brief discussion regarding the materials used within our displays, ie;  real wood and glass. Bad Dog Designs were enthusiastic about us producing an ambient display of their company logo.  Furthermore, they proceeded to forward us a copy of their logo via email the next day, just a simple jpeg.

The Outcome

After submitting the logo artwork to our glass supplier, the finished glass arrived two weeks after submission. Sharing the images of the display within #SBSwinners hour, they received a really positive response, not least from Bad Dog Designs themselves, but also from numerous other SBS winners.

Given the level of detail in this design, it is definitely one of our favourite ambient displays to date! Even when the piece isn’t lit by the LED light strip, it makes an impressive display (see below image). We were unsure whether the honeycomb effect in the centre of the design would be too fine to reproduce on the glass, but our glass supplier has done a marvellous job to recreate it.

Now, as we despatch this display, we look forward to hopefully seeing some images of it in its new home surrounded by some of the fabulous tube clocks that Bad Dog Designs creates.

We are confident that this display is one of the best examples of what we can put together for our customers.
